Setting up bank feeds in FR Books means that all your banking transactions will be automatically pulled over to FR Books on a daily basis. Once set up, all you'll need to do is check and confirm the transactions.

If you are not using automatic bank feeds as a Pro user, you can use file imports instead.

We do not currently have default import formats for all UK banks. However, if you use a bank which does not currently have a default import format you can still use the file import method to input your transactions by creating a custom file import.

To cancel an automated bank feed and remove its connection to FR Books, simply edit the 'Entry Method'. You can do this by navigating to the Enter Transactions page and clicking on the yellow 'Edit' button next to the relevant bank account under the Banking tab.

If you have multiple bank and/or credit card accounts in FR Books, you may need to know how to process a transfer from one account to the other. To do this, when checking and confirming your bank transactions, you will simply need to select the other bank account as the category.

To ensure all your accounts are up to date and accurate, transactions processed through internal wallets such as Stripe or PayPal must be treated correctly in FR Books.
